Labor Day weekend

For labor day we decided to head up to a condo just outside Depoe Bay that my grandparents own. It's a super nice place and right on the ocean, so it was so much fun to spend lots of time at the beach and Jon even humored me and we went into Newport and then Depoe Bay to look around at the cute shops. It was a great weekend and very relaxing after our stressful move here. It was nice to just spend time together as a family. So, here are a few pictures of the fun weekend we had.

We bought an Elmo kite to fly... Livi liked it every now and then but it sure kept Jon occupied :) he is a master kite flyer :)

Once she discovered the water and how fun it was to splash in it we couldn't get her out

she was soaked by the time it was time to go

Jon showed her how to make a castle with the buckets... and she showed him how to destroy it :)

It was such a blast! And it's so close we will probably try to spend as many weekends over there as possible. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma!
