Warning: there are a TON of pictures!
Well we are done with our 1st rotation and now living in Salt Lake City while Jon does his 2nd and 3rd. We are very happy to be here, we love the area, it's beautiful, we are closer to family, and we get to go to all the BYU football games! WOOP! But we had a great summer in Arizona. We got to spend a lot of time with Jon's sister Jana and her great family. It was really nice to get to know each of them better and also to have family close by to do fun things with. We did a lot of fun stuff with them it was great. We miss you guys!
We had a great time when Ben and April came for a visit on their way to Disneyland. We spent a day at the Children's museum and the kids had a blast together.
The kids loved this exhibit, you put the scarves in one end and they fly out another. So much fun!
Riding bikes through the car wash
Plinko!
Arts and Crafts
Noodle Forest!
Olivia and Harrison loved the ice cream truck! They actually had kids lining up to get a fake ice cream cone! It was awesome!
We spent hours playing in the grocery store
Time for Cars
We also went to take a tour of a local chocolate factory! The kids thought that it was awesome and they got to sample some fresh dipped candies! YUM!
This chocolate Santa was solid milk chocolate like 500 lbs! WOAH!
We also had the great opportunity to take the kids to see the Mesa Temple. It is so beautiful and we had a great time walking around the beautiful grounds and seeing the different exhibits at the visitors center. I love the family show that they have there, I have seen it quite a few times and cry like a baby everytime! It was a beautiful afternoon!
We made so many memories in Arizona with family. We swam everyday, had lots of great dinners together, we even spent a few days in Sedona! (which is my next post cause I took a million pictures) We also had the amazing chance to spend a weekend at Disneyland with my family which was so awesome! The girls had the time of their lives. It was so magical, they loved every second of it and I also have a million pictures of that trip to post too! :) All in all it was a FANTASTIC summer!
We are very excited for what adventures SLC had in store for us!
