Well leaving my parents house after Christmas break was very hard for me this year, my little Sister Julianne aka Juju was getting ready to leave on her mission to Papeete Tahiti. It was hard to say goodbye to her after spending 3 weeks with her and having so much fun. We did get to go back to Boise to listen to her farewell talk and spend a couple more days with her before she left and that was so awesome. She is such a sweetheart and has always been someone that I really look up to. She has stood by me thru all my stupid hard times and has never stopped loving me. She is one of my best friends and I am going to miss having her around while she is gone but I am SO proud of her! She is going to be the best missionary, she always has been. She is going to give her whole heart to the people of Tahiti and they are going to love her right back. We are so lucky to have a missionary serving right now. My girls love their Aunt Juju so much and follow her everywhere she goes when we are home, I hope that while she is serving they will want to follow her example there as well. Juju asked to me start a blog for her and keep everyone updated on how she is doing by posting her emails and pictures from the mission as well as keep an updated address on there so everyone can write to her. Please write to her and show your support and love for her! The blog is http://sisterjuliannelaw.blogspot.com
So... Since christmas we have been staying pretty busy. Like I said a couple weeks after Christmas break we headed back to Boise to see Juju one last time and listen to her speak in church. She did so great and the spirit was so strong in that meeting, and the weekend was awesome spending time with my whole family. It was great to see Nate and Mindi and we of course missed their girls.
I love my brother and sisters!
These girls are hard at work writing letters to Aunt Juju!
We have also had lots of fun enjoying our last few months in beautiful Oregon! Jon has been so crazy busy studying for boards that anytime we get a few minutes with him the girls go crazy and there new favorite games have been monster or jungle which are pretty much the same things Jon chases them around and they scream and then tackle him instead! :) sometimes while watching them play I just get this overwhelming feeling of gratitude, I love my family so much and we are so blessed! One of the evenings that Jon made some free time for us we went out to eat dinner and then went bowling together. It was the first time that we have all been bowling together it was quite the adventure to say the least. :) The girls had a blast so their smiles and laughter made the stress and sweat all worth it!
Emma got a STRIKE!
Last weekend we all went to the Portland Temple and walked around together and went to the visitor's center it was cold and wet of course but it was still do much fun to be together and listen to Olivia try to teach Emma about the temple. Sweet memories!
Emma kept touching the Christus' feet and saying Jesus owee? and then she would point to his hands. She even kissed and tickled His feet a couple times. So sweet to watch my girls learn and grow.
She gave lots of hugs too!
